Episode 1 – The Stranger in My Apartment
Written By Jed The Creator
Clara dragged her tired body up the stairs after another stressful day at the call center. She only wanted one thing: a warm shower and sleep.
But when she reached her apartment door, something was wrong.
The lights inside were on.
Her heart skipped.
She lived alone.
Clara hesitated, dropped her bag on the floor, and gently tried the handle—locked. Yet she could hear faint movement inside.
She knocked.
Silence.
She knocked harder.
Still nothing.
“Who’s in my house?” she shouted, fear crawling into her chest.
After nearly thirty minutes of knocking and panicking, the door finally swung open.
And there stood a tall, well-dressed man in a white shirt, his tie loose around his neck, looking like he had just made himself comfortable.
Clara froze.
“Who are you?” she asked, her voice trembling.
The man gave her a faint smile.
“My name is Daniel. I believe… we need to talk.”
Clara’s hands shook.
“How did you get into my apartment? What do you want from me?”
Daniel stepped aside as if inviting her in.
“I’ll explain everything. But first, you need to know… I’m not a stranger to you.”
Her eyes widened.
Not a stranger? She had never seen this man in her life.
“Stop playing games with me,” Clara snapped. “I’ll call the police.”
Daniel shook his head slowly.
“Clara… I’m your landlord’s son. And I’ve been watching you for a long time.”
Her heart almost jumped out of her chest.

Episode 2 – The Warning
Clara’s legs felt weak as Daniel leaned casually on the doorway of her own apartment, speaking as though he belonged there.
Her instincts screamed at her to run—but her curiosity rooted her in place.
“What do you mean you’ve been watching me?” Clara asked, folding her arms across her chest, hiding the tremble in her hands.
Daniel stepped closer, lowering his voice.
“You’re not safe here. That’s all I can tell you for now.”
She scoffed, trying to mask her fear with anger.
“Not safe? Then why are you in my apartment instead of calling the police?”
“Because,” he said firmly, “the danger is closer than you think. And the police can’t protect you from it.”
Her heart raced.
This was insane.
“I don’t care who you are, or what story you’re trying to spin,” Clara snapped. “Get out of my house now!”
Daniel stared at her silently for a moment, his sharp blue eyes locked on hers. Then, slowly, he pulled a card from his pocket and placed it on her table.
“If anything strange happens… call me,” he said.
Before Clara could reply, he walked past her and disappeared down the hallway.
She rushed inside, slammed the door shut, and leaned against it, breathing heavily.
She picked up the card.
Daniel Scott.
And below his name—CEO, Scott Enterprises.
Clara frowned.
The name sounded familiar.
Then she froze.
Scott Enterprises was the company her boss had been talking about all week—the powerful firm preparing to take over her call center.
Why would the CEO of such a massive company break into her apartment… and warn her about danger?
Her phone buzzed, snapping her out of her thoughts. It was a message from her best friend, Emily.
“Clara, don’t trust anyone. I found out something about your boss. Call me now.”
Clara’s hands shook even more.
First a stranger in her apartment… now this?

Episode 3 – Emily’s Secret
Written By Jed The Creator
Clara’s hands trembled as she stared at Emily’s message.
Her best friend never sent cryptic texts like this.
Without thinking, she dialed Emily’s number.
“Clara?” Emily’s voice came out shaky, almost like she was whispering.
“Listen to me carefully. Whatever you do, don’t trust your boss.”
Clara blinked.
“What are you talking about, Emily? You’re scaring me.”
“I’m serious,” Emily continued. “I overheard a conversation at work today. Your boss, Mr. Raymond, isn’t who you think he is. He’s hiding something dangerous. And if you get too close, you’ll end up in trouble.”
Clara sank into the couch, her pulse racing.
First Daniel—the mysterious CEO who broke into her apartment—and now her best friend. Both warning her about danger.
But from different sides.
“Emily,” Clara whispered, “there’s something I haven’t told you. Daniel Scott came to my apartment tonight.”
There was a long silence on the other end of the call.
When Emily finally spoke, her voice shook even more.
“Clara… if the CEO himself has come to you, then it’s worse than I thought.”
Clara pressed her palm to her forehead, trying to steady her breathing.
“Please, Emily. Tell me exactly what you know.”
Emily hesitated.
“I can’t explain everything on the phone. Too many ears could be listening. Just meet me tomorrow after work at the Riverside Café. Don’t tell anyone you’re coming—not even your colleagues. Promise me.”
Clara swallowed hard.
“Okay. I promise.”
But deep inside, a chilling question gnawed at her.
If Emily was right about her boss… why was Daniel Scott, a powerful CEO, personally watching her?
And most importantly—
Who was lying to her?

Episode 4 – The Café Meeting
Written By Jed The Creator
The next evening, Clara walked into Riverside Café, her eyes darting around nervously.
The small café smelled of freshly brewed coffee, but the tension in her chest made it hard to breathe.
Emily was already there, seated in the corner booth, her hair tucked under a cap like she was trying not to be noticed.
“Clara, over here,” Emily whispered, waving her over.
Clara slid into the seat. “Emily, what’s going on? You’re scaring me.”
Emily leaned in, her eyes wide.
“Your boss, Mr. Raymond… he’s working with a secret group. I don’t know all the details yet, but I overheard him on the phone last night. He mentioned your name, Clara. He said you were ‘becoming useful.’”
Clara’s blood ran cold.
“Useful? For what?”
Emily shook her head. “I don’t know. But it didn’t sound good. That’s why I had to warn you.”
Before Clara could respond, a shadow fell across their table.
She looked up—and her heart nearly stopped.
Daniel Scott was standing there.
Calm. Confident. Watching them both.
“Interesting,” he said smoothly. “So this is the famous best friend.”
Emily stiffened in her seat, glaring at him.
“You again? Stay away from her.”
Daniel’s lips curved in a faint smile.
“I warned Clara already. But clearly, she needs more convincing. Perhaps you both do.”
Clara’s voice shook.
“Why are you following me? What do you want from me?”
Daniel’s gaze softened, just a little.
“What I want… is to keep you alive.”
The café suddenly felt too small, too quiet, as the three of them locked eyes—secrets, lies, and danger hanging heavy in the air.

Episode 5 – The First Proof
Written By Jed The Creator
Clara’s heart thumped wildly as Daniel slid into the booth beside them, his calm presence clashing with Emily’s fiery glare.
“I don’t need your protection,” Clara said, trying to sound firm, though her voice betrayed her fear. “I need the truth.
Daniel leaned closer, lowering his voice so only they could hear.
“Then listen carefully. Your boss, Raymond, isn’t just a businessman. He’s running a secret operation, and you’re caught in the middle of it. Whether you like it or not.”
Emily slammed her hand on the table.
“Don’t believe him, Clara! He’s twisting things. Daniel’s company is the one trying to take over Raymond’s. He just wants to use you to win.”
Clara looked from Emily to Daniel, torn.
“Why me? Why is my name in the middle of all this?”
Daniel reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a folded sheet of paper.
“I didn’t want to show you this, but you need proof.”
He slid it across the table.
Clara unfolded it with shaking hands—
It was a company document, confidential, with her name printed at the top under a section labeled ‘Recruitment Candidates.’
Her breath caught.
“Recruitment? For what?” she whispered.
Daniel’s eyes darkened.
“For something dangerous. Something that could ruin your life forever if you don’t step away now.”
Emily grabbed the paper, scanning it quickly.
“This doesn’t prove anything! It could be fake. Clara, don’t let him scare you!”
Clara sat frozen, staring at the paper, torn between the two people she trusted most.
For the first time, she realized the truth was no longer just a mystery—
It was a trap closing in on her.
